Self Portraits: Salt Flats
Imposter syndrome is a bitch! I struggle with it every day. Some days more than others. The more I talk about it the more I find so many other creatives struggling with imposter syndrome too. Photographers that I look up to that have no idea just how fucking amazing their work is. You girl, you know who you are 😉
My trip to Utah was a push out of my comfort zone to kick imposter syndrome in the ass. I did the damn thing and came out a more confident creative. I’ve been riding that high since I left.
I cant tell you what changed other than I gave myself permission to see what was already there.
Don’t be fooled though I still catch myself in comparison mindset or find myself on the quitting train but when I remember to give myself permission to create the way I want to, I feel I am the most fulfilled.
